The "Resale Right" badge is affixed to a product that meets the criteria of Intellectual Property Law which recognizes the author of a graphic work, a right of continuation on his work. He exercises it by collecting a portion of the price of the sale called "copyright" when the sale of his work is made, either by public auction or through a merchant.

In the case of comics for example Hergé

Resale rights are up to 4% in BD public sales.

      - In Belgium it is from a tender amount of 2,000 euros and these rights are due by the buyer.
      - In France it is from an amount of auction of 800 euros and these rights are due by the seller.
